I bought the gazelle about a month ago as an easy way to get some mild exercise in at home while watching TV. I couldn't get myself to enroll in a gym and pay for membership fees knowing that I wouldn't be able to get my lazy bum ready to drive there and back to exercise.
The gazelle is a great alternative. I do agree with other users that it could use some enhancements (such as resistance options) but for $100, I was expecting a lot less than what I got! It's built well, does squeek a little but it's not unbearable, the timer gizmo is basic but good enough. Assembly was pretty straight forward and easy to follow.
Exercisewise, the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Sometimes i'll just get on it and walk because I don't feel like trying that hard so it would be nice if there was a better way to add resistance other than leaning forward or back. It does take some getting used to at first but the motion feels very similar to an elliptical machine.
All in all, great product for the price point. Get more detail about Gazelle Edge.
