Gazelle Edge Buy Now


I am an official couch potato. I got NO exercise before this. I have joint problems so just walking or jogging was not an option for me. I also don't like the outdoors, not into sports, but am getting chubby- go figure! I got this because it's no-impact, thinking that any movement is better than what I was doing.

I thought assembly was easy- it's not rocket science. I got it up and going within half an hour- ok, more like 45 minutes with a smoke break in the middle there. As soon as it was assembled and tightened down, I was off and going! The first evening, I did 20 minutes with no ill effects. After that, it was 30 minutes an evening every evening. The different exercises in the book take about 10 minutes and I can feel it in the various areas.

This isn't for exercise fiends. It gets my heart rate up, but then again, if it's a particularly challenging bag of chips, I can get my heart rate up. My son, the athlete, uses it for much longer time spans and it's alright for him- it keeps him active between seasons. We aren't going to look like professional body builders from this, but that's not what we were expecting when we got it.

I did notice that I slept better after I started using this. I'm also feeling a little more energetic and optimistic- I'm considering even doing a 5k walk for a local charity. Once I got moving, I started feeling better in general.
