Everything I read in the reviews about the Gazelle are true...both the postive and the negative.
10 key things I've learned in my two jaunts on it:
1) It does make my feet cramp due to the force on the feet needed to propel it.
2) You will only get out of it what you put into it. If you're familiar with at-home work outs like Tai-Bo, EA Active, Wii Fit etc...you'll get something out if it. If you're a gym rat, you won't.
3)It is VERY easy to set up. Not sure why people struggled.
4) It is not easy to move around. Yes, it's movable but a set place would be better.
5) You have to work out on it for a long time to feel results. My first session was 77 minutes and my second was 60 minutes and I didn't work up a sweat (I'm usually the sweaty-kid at the gym.)
6)It's better than sitting on the couch and it's very quiet (so-far). I watched a movie and the X-Games and the time passed very quickly.
7) I don't know if I'll stick with it because it's a little too easy of a workout. I knew what I was getting into so I was prepared.
8)It is VERY different than an elliptical trainer. Do not expect this to be a substitute.
9)It is worth the money. Even if I use it on the weekend when I have time for longer workouts it's paid for in 2 months of gym membership fees.
10) Use it as a part of a comprehensive workout routine. If this is all you plan to do, you'll be bored and give up soon.Get more detail about Gazelle Edge.
