I often get home very late from work and don't have the time to get to the gym on those days. I usually make an attempt at a short workout when I get home, but typically end up on the couch watching TV. I decided to try this item because of it's low price and ability to fold up out of the way. After a few months of using it, I'm very pleased. It's whisper quiet, which easily allows me to watch TV while using it, and it can be extremely low impact, if you so choose. Those two qualities tend to coax me off the couch more often than not. Once the blood starts pumping I'm able to increase the intensity as I choose, either by body position, speed or with the addition of ankle weights. After 20 or 30 minutes on the Gazelle, I usually find myself doing additional exercise as well.
I'd say the build quality is very good for the price. The machine has a more stable and balanced feel than the typical $250 and below cardio machine. I did have to pull it back apart and regrease it with some higher quality stuff to keep the occasional squeak away. With the addition of a $4 drink holder from Sports Authority, I'm very happy with the machine.Get more detail about Gazelle Edge.
