I ordered one of these after reading the other reviews, and can add my first impression to everyone else's.
So far, I am impressed. After reading the other reviews I dicovered the following:
Regarding shipping - I got mine from Sears. Took about 3 weeks, but I understand because it came on a full size 53 foot semi. I backed my pickup up to the semi, and we slid it into the pickup bed, which I then backed into the garage.
Regarding the box - Totally heavy. Seriously...take it out of the box to move it inside. The biggest piece is the base - TWO people can move it and whoever's strongest takes the motor end.
Regarding set-up - Loved the suggestion of the horse stall mat, did that myself. Once the base was in place, no problem with set up after reading instructions. Work slowly, carefully, and double check that you are using the right bolts/screws. They don't tell you in the manual, but when you attach the plastic covers to the speed clips at the base of the control board stand, you need to put the screws in before you drop that plastic piece down. Also, the front speed clips work better if you turn them sideways. Otherwise, it set up perfectly and everything seems to be working fine. I checked, but no need to adjust the belt right away, it seems to come fairly well lined up from the factory.
